Layers of light and shadow weave through the scenery in what is one of my/Ricardo’s favorite woodland photos I’ve created. The soft glow of the sun breaks through the tree line, inviting the viewer, but the path remains shrouded in mystery. Inspired by David Lowery’s brilliant film, The Green Knight,  this dream-like photograph invites you on an ethereal journey through a mystical forest. Captured on a humid, foggy morning at Mount Mitchell State Park, the mood and atmosphere is represented well in the final edit.
